MB/A ADJUSTABLE PITCH IMPELLER
The extremely versatile MB/A mixing impeller features
multiple configurations using 2 to 8 blades and in-field pitch adjustability to fine tune
pumping and shear requirements.
Each blade can be individually pitched from 0 to 180 degrees.
The MB/A impeller can be easily adjusted in the field to
handle a wide range of applications such as solids suspension, gas dispersion, viscous
fluids, heat transfer, flocculation, and blending.
MIXER SEALS
The latest in seal design and technology is
available from UET for mixing applications with demanding requirements.
TYPE 32 DRY RUNNING
SEAL
For Top Entry Mixer Applications
Type
32 seals are outside mounted, ID balanced seals with the seal faces in
contact during operation. No auxiliary equipment is required for
lubrication. The design eliminates the need for double seals with
ancillary equipment.
These seals are excellent for operation in
vacuum conditions and meet the needs of pharmaceutical and chemical
processing industries.
Operating Conditions
- Temperature: -50°F to +300°F (-45°C to
+150°C) depending on materials used.
- Pressure: Full Vacuum to 225 psig (15 bar g)
- Speeds: to 400 RPM

TYPE 7700
Double Seal Cartridge
For Top Entry Mixer Applications
The
Type 7700 mechanical seal is used for heavy duty mixer applications and isolation of
process batches from contamination.
The heavy duty Type 7700 seal is
design-specific to serve critically important vessels in batch or continuous processes. It guards the batch from contamination, greatly reduces leakage, and extends mean
time between planned maintenance. For performance and durability, this dry-running,
or wet, double opposed cartridge seal is in a class by itself. It runs cooler and
quieter, has better balance and can handle more shaft movement/displacement than any other
heavy duty mixer seal. It can operate as a full contact dry-running seal,
eliminating need for buffer fluid, or it can run with liquid lubrication. Type 7700
seals are available in sizes from 1" through 8" or larger.
Operating Conditions
TYPE 37FS FULLY SPLIT SEAL
The Type 37FS
seal is used for pulp and paper, petrochemical, power plants, food processing, municipal
wastewater, and other demanding applications where downtime must be kept to a minimum.
Operating Conditions
-
Temperatures: Up to 300°F (150°C)
-
Pressures: Full vacuum to 300 psig (21 bar g)
-
Speeds: Up to 300 rpm.
